Global Talent Visa Program Webinar
What is this webinar about?

The government of Australia, of late, has been taking drastic measures to attract top talents from across the world to work and live permanently in Australia. There is a select set of sectors named ‘Target sectors’ to which Australia is scouting for talents through the newly instituted ‘Global Talent Visa program’ (also called as Global Talent Independent Visa program).

The program identifies distinguished candidates from other countries and grants them Distinguished Talent Visa Subclass 858. With this visa, one can work and live in Australia permanently, enrol in their public healthcare program and eventually apply for Australian citizenship.

The government of Australia, through this program, aims at fulfilling skill gaps in major sectors with foreign talents, creating a conducive environment for them to set up and operate businesses in the country. This move, as the government hopes, will create jobs for Australians and help the nation’s economy bounce back quickly.
In 2020-2021, 15,000 places are available under this program which is 200% more than last year.
